Note in the Captains Log November 19 2000 :
We had a great morning down at Sunshine Beach today with all sorts
of people and critters organised by Noosa Shire Council as part of the
– Clean Ocean Project – Open Day.
We was celebratin’ the installation of a new fangdangelly thingo that
catches all the rubbish caught up with the stormwater and stops it
being washed out into the ocean.
Hurrah!! Pirate Pete likes to see a clean ocean.
Here’s some pics of some other happy folks who was there and agreed
that clean oceans are definitely the best.
