Note in the Captains Log December 31st 2000 :

…that one really crazy night of the year and being the crazy pirate
he is Pirate Pete took himself and Charlie Cockatoo off to Mooloolaba
for the new years celebrations.
The ship’s cook, Goldie came too also deckhand Alana Banana
(who provided us with the extra excitement of getting herself lost
in a crowd of around 20,000 but having been trained properly she took herself
off to the lost parents tent where we then met up)
There was heaps and heaps of people there and we managed to catch quite
a few with our camera.
