Note in the Captains Log July 29 2001 :
The Lion’s Den – Where is it?? – This delightful little dwelling is out
in the middle of nowhere around 30 kms out of Cooktown, Far North Queensland.
Tis very old and built out of corrugated tin and what a
wild bunch of pirates visits there…
Methinks Pirate Pete may have left his mark there too….I knows for sure
he left loads of flags and headbands there fer the local kids to
play with….and didn’t they have fun…..See fer yerself
